DeCoffe, Mike, 71, of Pinevale formally of Afton passed away on June 2, 2026 at St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish

Born in Antigonish, he was the son of Ozzie and Catherine (Walsh) DeCoffe.  

He was a jack of all trades, and he enjoyed tinkering on his collection of antique vehicles. 

He is survived by his wife Mary of 53 years, his son Michael and spouse Natasa, daughter in law Kelly and grandchildren Ronan and Amber.  

Predeceased by his son Shane (Feb 17, 2026) and a very special brother Charlie.

On Mike's behalf we would like to thank Dr John Chiasson and Dr David Faour, his family doctors.  Sincere appreciation to the oncology and palliative care team in Antigonish especially Dr Lisa Anne Gillis, Dr Emily Rice and Nurse Valerie Pettipas.  Also to the radiation and chemo teams at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre.  Your kindness will never be forgotten. 

A very special thank you to his friend and neighbor Robert for all the support and help provided over the past year.
