Bill owned and operated Bill Malcolm’s Furniture and Appliances for many years. Throughout his working career, he enjoyed meeting many people making many friends. Bill was involved with the Federal and Provincial Liberal Parties and helping out with these campaigns. Even though he was a proud Liberal, he never let that get in the way of having friends who followed a different political party. Bill was a General Member of the Office of the Commissioner of Review Tribunals, Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security with the Government of Canada for which he travelled extensively throughout Canada, taking his position very seriously.
Most importantly, family came first. Bill was a family man who supported and loved his family dearly. Bill was an avid crib player and a jokester. In his younger years, Bill enjoyed traveling and camping. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was very proud of his Scottish heritage.
To all of the doctors, specialists, nurses, VON, hospital staff, and Lawtons Pharmacy staff who have cared for Bill throughout the last few years, thank you for your love and care. You all have our family's ever-lasting gratitude.
