Gillis, Della C., age 90, of Antigonish died peacefully at St. Marthas Hospital on Saturday, July 4th, 2026. Born in Barney’s River, Nova Scotia, the daughter of the late Gordon & Ruth MacCulloch.

Della was a stay at home mom, who raised her four children. She was a proud member of Arras Branch 59 Ladies Auxiliary and loved playing bingo every night of the week.

Della is survived by her three sons, John Hugh (Janice), Antigonish, Larry, Halifax, and Gordon (Maria), Antigonish; she was the proud nan of granddaughters Kylie (Alex) and Kenzie (Tyler), all of Antigonish; brother Bill (Marg), British Columbia; sister Margie, Wasaga Beach, Ontario; sister-in-law Lydia, New Glasgow; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Della was predeceased by her loving husband, Ronald A. (Ronnie), daughter Ruth, brothers Jim, Lester, Colin, Stewart.

Cremation has taken place with burial at a later date.
