We are sad to
announce the sudden passing of Autumn Michelle DeCoste, age 27, of
Haileybury, Ontario, and formerly of Tracadie, Antigonish County on
July 11th, 2026.
Born in
Antigonish, she was the daughter of Ashley DeCoste of Edmonton and
Bradley Boyle of Afton.
Autumn was by
definition a true country girl. She was a beautiful woman who
didn’t like a lot of fuss and found happiness in the simple
moments spent with family and friends, creating memories that will be
treasured for generations . Summer was always Autumn’s
favorite time of year. Beach days, cruising the back roads, and
singing songs around a campfire were some of her favorite
pastimes.
Her proudest
moments in life will always be welcoming her 3 beautiful daughters
into the world. She had so much love for her 3 little ladies and big
dreams for their future. Her biggest wish was for her girls to always
feel loved, to always be brave, and to be true to
themselves.
Although she
is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely will remain a
guiding light in the lives of her daughters and all who knew her. She
will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never
forgotten.
Besides her
parents, Ashley and Bradley, she is survived by her 3 daughters, Hope,
Mia and Ridge; her partner, Kaiden Mckinnon; her brother, Alex Boyle
(Megan Russell); sister, Audrey Boyle; and niece, Peyton Boyle; her
grandparents, Ellsworth and Yvonne (Mattie) DeCoste, Tracadie; aunt,
Dahlia (Dan Lagace), Upper Tantallon; uncles, Ellsworth
"Pook" ,Afton; Jed, Lower South River; Kyle (Elizabeth
Greencorn), Monastery; and Austin,
Monastery.
She was
predeceased by her uncle, Rayphael; as well her paternal grandparents,
Eugene and Jeannie Boyle.
Visitation
will be held Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9pm in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish.
