Connors, Mary Phyllis, 62, of
Addington Forks, Antigonish County, passed away on January 30, 2012,
in St. Martha's Regional Hospital,
Antigonish.
Born in Antigonish, she was a
daughter of the late Connor and Florence (Kavanaugh)
Boyle.
Phyllis worked with St.
Martha's Regional Hospital over a span of 35 years. She was a kind
and loving person, who was compassionate and caring to the patients
she registered. Phyllis was a member of St. Ninian's CWL. She
enjoyed sewing and knitting and loved spending time with her
friends.
She is survived by her
husband, Danny; sons, Michael (Lori), Mississauga, and Blair (Sheryl),
Toronto; granddaughter, Nicole, who was her pride and joy; brother,
Cyril (Judy), Edmonton, Ambrose (Celeste), Clive, AB, Gerard and
George (Leona), Bayfield, sister, Betty (Francis Juurlink), Meadow
Green, Antigonish County; and several nieces and
nephews.
Visitation will be held
Thursday in the C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street,
Antigonish, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held
Friday in St. Ninian's Cathedral at 11:00am, with Reverend Lazarus
Guria presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later
date.
